Christopher Musial Interesting reworks of JS Bach pieces. To me, the French Suite is the best blend of electronic and the original organ performance, but all of the tracks have merit. Favorite track: French Suite remix.

about

HOWL009

With this new release, The Silent Howl wanted to highlight the originality and ingenuity of the work featured on the album Electrofeit (HOWL007) by Fred Thomas. We recruited a group of experimental artists and composers to produce remixes from the original recordings made by the multi-instrumentalist of the Bach organ fugues. The result is both surprising and daring - also, to the best of our knowledge, completely original.

The remix culture invites itself into the classical world and accepts the invitation through the open-mindedness of experimental electronic music. Enjoy!

Huge thanks and massive respect goes out to the remixers for their creativity: Monty Adkins, Alex Bonney, Louis Dufort, Stephen Harvey, Sylvain Pohu, Daniel Ruane, Pierre Alexandre Tremblay

Thank you also to Fred Thomas for his collaboration on this project.
