red virgin soil is the name under which Stephen Harvey records his solo work.

Convergent Boundaries was recorded and mixed between 2016 and 2022 in between projects with Stephens band, Tout Croche.

It is a very personal album. It is both noisy and melodic, it sometimes sounds like music made for a film soundtrack.

No-input mixer, effects, guitar, bass guitar, percussion and electronics

Thanks to Pierre Alexandre Tremblay whose snippets of wisdom are scattered like icing sugar over all these pieces…

Also, to Dominic Thibault who I love like a brother, informs much of what I do in music and is always one minute late.

This album is dedicated to the memory of Heather Harvey, who I miss every day.
